TADO introduced the world’s first Smart Thermostat for heating systems in 2015. The Tado Smart Radiator Thermostat Starter Kit v3 replaces your old thermostat, enabling you to control each room individually from the Tado App on your Android or iOS device.
The Tado° Smart Radiator Thermostat Starter Kit v3 enables the usage of Tado° with older radiator valve actuators. Tado uses a smartphone app to set your personal heating schedule and Tado automatically turns down the heat when nobody is at home.
Tado’s system knows when you’re on the way back from work or school and starts warming up before you arrive so that there will be a pleasantly warm temperature already when you step in through the door. Tado has been praised for its simple installation process since all users have to do is connect it with their radiators – Tado takes care of the rest.
The downside about the Tado Smart Radiator Thermostat Starter Kit v3 is the price. It is quite expensive and it also has a subscription for some of the features. The subscription shouldn’t be there.
You also have to change batteries but to be honest they last for a few months.
