When I took it out of the box my first impression was that this could be one cool-looking gadget, aside from the typical look and feel of a watch. The build quality and design really impressed me since I wasn’t expecting anything great at this price range. It is also good to know that you don’t have to take the watch off every time you need to go swimming or are outside in the rain because it’s IP68 water-resistant.
Connecting it to your smartphone via Bluetooth is fast and easy. The Smart Watch Gandley R3 also comes with a heart rate monitor. It’s compatible with iPhones and Android devices alike. Whether you have an android or ios phone there’s no need for additional pairing just download the companion app and sync it to your smartwatch.
The model I got came in black.
The display is quite impressive considering the price tag on this device. It looks very much like Samsung Gear S2 and other more expensive models such as Apple Watch because of its round shape. The screen resolution is 240*240 pixels which is pretty good for such an affordable watch face.
The case material is metal and the wristband is made of silicon. The watch feels very light when you wear it which I kind of like. I hate having to carry something that’s heavy on my hand, It will not feel comfortable after some time wearing the smartwatch if it’s too heavy for you.
I won’t say that the battery life is impressive but you don’t have to charge it too often either, it will last you a couple of days.
